A garden party for my oldest friend

It was an absolute honour to be able to host [along with my mum] a garden party / bridal shower for my oldest and dearest friend Sarah a few days before her wedding in early March. I didn't manage to capture all the loveliness on camera, but below are few of my favourite elements from the afternoon before everyone arrived.

Sarah's mum and aunt gathered together their family collection of STUNNING vintage china and linen which was a key part of the vintage garden party theme we were trying to achieve. I also created name tags for everyone which they could tie around the stem of their champagne glass or to the handle of their tea cup.

The afternoon was full of Pims, Champagne, scrummy sandwiches and divine Portuguese tarts and mini cupcakes. Oh, and I wore my lovely vintage tea dress.
